happy 4th from reversible co.

There are many things happening during the summer and it’s hard to have a moment to sit down and just relax. I don't know about you, but at times, I feel like I am in the car all day long.

The morning starts with drop off for camp, then there are errands to run, then there is pick up from camp and then there is another activity of some sort in the afternoon! By the time 4pm hits, I want my children to be exhausted, but I am pooped too!

I read this great article in last month’s Parents magazine where a “mompreneur” broke down her day. She was so excited to leave her job because now she was going to have time to spend with her children and focus on her business. She started her journey thinking she had 40 hours a week to work on her dream. By the end of the article she “bottomed lined” it and said she had maybe 17 hours and who knows if that was interrupted or not?! Being a mom is a full time job, whether you have help or not. As momma’s, we celebrate all moms who try to do it all! It is hard and you rock!

This month is birthday month for us! Please go to our website and sign up for our emails to hear about what is going on with the company and us! We are offering 10% off if you sign up! Also, if you haven’t seen yet, we joined Etsy. It was a game time decision and we felt like a lot of our followers/customers enjoy shopping on Etsy. Check out our store: reversibleco.

We also just got back from a trip to Skytop Lodge in the Poconos!! We took the kids and spent 5 days at a hotel, sort of like Kellerman’s from Dirty Dancing. It was fantastic. Here are some pictures from the trip. When you turn 35 on July 4th, you have to celebrate in a way that is different from how you would normally celebrate. We drove with the kids, 9 hours from MI to be with my family at Skytop. All I can say is that the place has a ton of fun activities and is pretty magical. If you are ever looking for a different type of vacation, this is the place. We had 4 kids under 5 and it was busy!! However, I am a firm believer in traveling with your children, I do it almost every month. I think it teaches them how to cope and adapt to situations that they wouldn’t normally be in and I think it helps parents get out of their normal day to day and see their kids and themselves in a different light. Cheers to July!! Visit our site to see our summer line, there are some items left!
